The ClimaRad Smart+ Solution provides a healthy and comfortable indoor climate. 

A decentralised* ventilation unit with heat recovery system provides clean air and removes polluted air. This only happens in warm rooms, such as the living room. This heat recovery unit provides a healthy indoor climate in an energy-efficient way. 

In contrast to natural ventilation, the air supplied with decentralised ventilation by ClimaRad is preheated by a heat recovery unit. The ClimaRad ventilation units have built-in sensors that measure air quality (CO2 content, humidity and indoor and outdoor temperatures). As a result, the ventilation units are automatically controlled: the user does not have to do anything themselves to regulate the ventilation. With the ClimaRad Smart+ Solution, the colder rooms, for example the bedrooms, are ventilated via window grilles.

One or more wireless CO2 sensors are installed in the bedrooms. A distinction is made between ground-based (GG) dwellings, where CO2 sensors are placed in all bedrooms, and non-ground-based (NGG) dwellings, where a CO2 sensor is placed only in the master bedroom. The new declarations for the improved EPA/EPC scores are included in the Bureau CRG database.

Advantages of ClimaRad Smart+

This ClimaRad Smart+ Solution enables the ventilation of a house directly through the façade.

Complex ventilation ducts are unnecessary. The built-in sensors of the ClimaRad heat recovery units take automatic measurements based on CO2, humidity, and indoor and outdoor temperatures. In this way, the system determines how much fresh air needs to be supplied and preheated. 

Extraction in the so-called 'wet' rooms is provided by the ClimaRad Fan, ClimaRad MiniBox or ClimaRad MaxiBox units. These products are automatically controlled based on the air humidity and presence of people in the room.

The ClimaRad Smart+ Solution can easily be expanded into the ClimaRad Smart Supply Solution. With this ClimaRad Solution, the living room in (care)houses is ventilated by a decentralised ventilation unit that provides clean (preheated by heat recovery) air and removes polluted air. The bedrooms are ventilated by ClimaRad S-Fans. These Fans provide the bedrooms with a comfortable air supply so that -in collaboration with the ventilation unit and extraction- a healty indoor air climate is created in all rooms.

Ventilation of the bedrooms takes place via ClimaRad S-Fans. These fans provide a comfortable air supply in the bedrooms, which in combination with the heat recovery unit and extraction in the entire house provide a healthy indoor climate.
